On 8-15-12 at 8:15p.m., Monroe Police received a call in reference to a robbery at Dollar General,1313 Winnsboro Rd. An unidentified male walked into the store and produced a handgun and demanded money from the cashier. The suspect struck the cashier with the gun and fled the scene in an unknown direction, with an undetermined amount of money . The clerk suffered minor wounds to her head and was transported to a local hospital.
On 8-15-12 at 9:51 p.m., Monroe Police responded to an armed robbery at Johnny’s Pizza, 801 So. 2 nd Street. An unidentified male walked into the restaurant armed with a gun. The suspect pointed the gun at the cashier and demanded money. The suspect fled in an unknown direction with cash, checks and credit card receipts.
On 8-17-12 at 9:18 p.m., Monroe Police responded to an armed robery at Family Stop Foods, 1403 Orange St. An unidentified b/m walked into the store and produced a handgun, demanding money from the cashier. He fled the scene in an unknown direction.
