The shooting at 400 Allen was drug related. The suspects came from Arkansas to purchase drugs but were robbed in a setup.
After further investigation, Monroe Police Detectives arrested Gregory Payne for Conspiracy to Distribute CDS II and Latary Williams for Armed Robbery, (2) counts of 2nd Degree Murder and Conspiracy to Distribute CDS II.
The suspected shooter, Willie Lockridge Jr., DOB: 05-07-90, was arrested on a warrant obtained by Monroe Police detectives for (2) counts of 1st Degree murder with no bond and (1) count of Armed Robbery with a bond of $750,000.00.
