MPD Online

MPD has official pages on Facebook, Twitter, and Nixle to provide reliable and accurate information to the public.

The Monroe Police Department would like to increase the public’s awareness of the use of social media websites for interaction with the police. MPD has maintained an official presence on Facebook, Twitter, and Nixle for approximately two years or more, as well as maintaining its very own website at MonroePD.com for providing information to citizens.

These outlets are utilized to promote communication of reliable information to the public and enhance the sharing of information through online services. Access to the information is available via the internet, making it available to everyone at home and work, and even while mobile with smartphones.

Forms are now available from MonroePD.com to report any damage to property or theft complaints, as well as vacation/extra patrol requests for officers to check your residence while you are away.

MPD is continuing to build upon the resources to provide additional methods of fighting crime. We invite everyone to visit the links to our official pages frequently to keep up to date with incidents and events, and hope that you will share these links with your friends and family.
