Crime Stoppers Of Ouachita

Information is needed from the public to assist in this investigation.

The Monroe Police Department needs your help in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in an armed robbery that occurred on February 21, 2012, at approximately 10:00am in the 200 block of Lidell Street in Monroe.

On this date a female was walking in the 200 block of Lidell when an unknown black male described as 5’8” 160 pounds, 18 to 19 years of age, wearing a red shirt and red flannel checkered pants, approached her and grabbed her purse.

The victim first refused to release the purse and was dragged down the street by the suspect. The suspect then hit the victim in the face with his fist. The victim let go of the purse and the suspect fled the scene. The victim received minor injuries during the struggle.
