Citizen’s Help = Burglary Arrests

On 01-09-12, Monroe Police Department responded to a burglary in the 1900 block of Cagle Drive. Upon arrival, a witness reported that he observed a back door had been kicked in at one of the residences and three black males exited, one wearing a green backpack.

The witness also stated that he observed the same three males walk to another residence on Samuel Drive and enter that residence as well. With this investigation, it led police to the location on Samuel Drive where Tanquerius Humphrey, Ronterrious Bell, and Jarrell Walker were found inside the residence. Also found was the green backpack that contained property identified by the victim as belonging to her that was taken from her residence.

All three suspects were read their rights and questioned about the burglaries; all three confessed to taking part in the incidents and were all charged with Simple Burglary and Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Burglary.

Humphrey, Bell, and Walker were transported to Ouachita Correctional Center.

Thanks to the concerned citizens of Monroe, two burglaries were solved and three people were arrested!

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
