Chief Holmes would like to congratulate the following officers for a job well done!
Officers J. Thigpen, C. Major, and C. Hughes were dispatched to the 900 block of South 4th Street on January 6, 2012 in reference to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, the officers were able catch two suspects (one juvenile and one adult-Fredrick Brown) as they were entering a residence through a window.
The suspects were charged with Simple Burglary.
Thanks to the concerned neighbors of the community and the fast response from Officer Thigpen, Major, and Hughes these two criminals were taken off of the streets.
