Khristopher R. Johnson has been arrested for Attempted Second Degree Murder in the shooting of a male subject in the 200 block of Stacy Drive.
On 10/3/2011 at approximately 12:31 PM, Monroe Police were notified of a shooting at 205 A Stacy Drive. Officers located the victim, a b/m, Ajina T. Weems, 24 years of age, outside the residence with a gunshot wound to the head. The suspect, identified as Khristopher Johnson, b/m, age 34, fled the scene.
Officers received information that the suspect was inside a residence in the 500 block of Grayling Lane. After more than a two hour standoff, Johnson was taken into custody without incident and transported to MPD where he is currently being booked for Attempted Second Degree Murder.
The victim was taken to LSU Medical Center in Monroe and a short time later flown to LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. There is no further information on the victim at this time.
