Detectives with the Monroe Police Department need your help in identifying and locating the suspect involved in an armed robbery of the LaQuinta located at 1035 US Hwy 165 South in Monroe.
On Friday September 16, 2011, at approximately 3:40am, an unknown black male described as 5’8” to 5’10” 160 pounds, around 40 years of age, wearing a two tone hoody jacket, dark colored pants and blue cap entered the lobby. The suspect asked for a room then produced a handgun. The suspect robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled north on foot from the scene.
