It’s time for the ArkLaMiss Fair again and that means entertainment for the family, food, fun, and carnival rides! The fair will be at the Monroe Civic Center September 22, 2011 through October 2, 2011.
Monroe Police Department will conduct business a little different this year at the ArkLaMiss Fair.
Security will heightened this year in order to ensure the safety of the participants at the fair.
· We will have security screening at the front entrance.
· Purses will be checked
· No back packs will be allowed
Also, a few safety tips are:
· Have a designated meeting place in the event that you are separated from the people you came with
· Please watch your children carefully around all rides, animals, and exhibits
· Wash your hands frequently, especially after touching animals, and before and after eating
· Report any suspicious activity to the Monroe Police Department who will be circulating throughout the entire fair.
