On Saturday, July 30th, 2011, Monroe Police Department received a call at 3:26 am in reference to shooting. Upon arrival, police discovered a male subject lying in the road on Samuel Drive.
It appeared that the victim, Antoine Standifer, had been shot five or six times. Standifer was rushed to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Investigation continues.
