Arrests From Burglary Investigation

Julius S. Woodard

Burglary investigation leads to arrest of Julius S. Woodard for possession of a stolen firearm. More charges pending further investigation.

On Jan 7th, SNAP & MET Teams, along with Detective S. Sadler, placed Julius S. Woodard (age 17) under arrest for possession of a stolen firearm following an investigation of burglaries in the east Monroe area. Two other juveniles were also arrested as well.

A substantial amount of property was recovered from multiple addresses, including firearms, large flatscreen TVs, computers, cameras, game systems, cellular phones, and other items.

More charges may be pending for Woodard and the two juveniles; officers have begun looking at past reports to locate possible owners of the property that may have been taken in burglaries.

CPL R. Mahoney is the arresting officer in this matter.
